Hello! I need to know how to change the spark plugs on a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier for my girlfriend. I was hoping someone could provide some sort of photo or diagram for how to access and repair and properly gap the spark plugs for this model of car. We're getting ready to make a cross country trip in this car, unfortunately, and I would like to do some minor repairs before we head out. However, I've never worked on a Cavalier, so any help is appreciated.

First you'll need a 3/8 drive 5/8 deep-well magnetic socket from Auto Zone and a couple of 3/8 short extensions. Plan on replacing the spark plug wires if they've never been done also.
