Anybody have problems with their 2000 Chevrolet Malibu overheating?
Our Chevy Malibu has been overheating anytime we drive it further than 2 or 3 miles. We already replaced the thermostat and the coolant cap, and added water/coolant. That didn't help. I've asked around and it seems that it could be the water pump or the head gasket. Anybody else run into this problem? What did it cost to have it repaired?
Answer:
That car overheating that quickly I would lean towards a water pump. If it's not addressed before overheating it real bad it will be a head gasket.
