Avoid corrosion. Corrosion or rust on the battery terminals can shorten the life of the battery. If you do not have time to clean yourself , make sure the mechanic at the garage confidence you check and clean the battery terminals on a regular basis .
Check for loose wires and also check the battery holder. Corroded battery holder which is recommended to be replaced . The stand is damaged or corroded battery could potentially create an unstable position so it will vibrate or move the position which in turn shorten the life of the battery .
